Do you do white fillings?

Yes, as white fillings are done by probably all dentists practicing today. I use them on a regular basis in front teeth and small fillings in back teeth. However, I do not think they are a good choice for big fillings in back teeth. They don’t have the strength to handle the amount of wear and tear they go through, and would likely have to be replaced frequently. When it comes to the molars, there are other materials, such as porcelain and gold, which will give you many more years of service and need to be replaced much less often. It comes down to a matter of quality and what will be best for the patient in the long-run.
